Social justice is something most of us enjoy everyday, without even knowing it.
It affects our lives from the time we wake up to the time we go to sleep.
It is having clean water to drink and enough food to eat.
It is our access to healthcare and education.
It is the opportunities we are given and all the choices we are free to make.
It is having a house to live in and a safe place to sleep.
It is in our ability to live our lives in dignity.
Although it is a complex idea that is difficult to define, in general Social justice could be seen as;
The fair distribution of advantages, assets and benefits among all members of society.
A socially just world could be one in which people are treated fairly - everybody deserving and receiving an equal slice of the cake.
